Mahalaxmi Travels ISO 9001:2015 is a city in the northwest of the state of Rajasthan, India. From its small Origin it has developed into the fourth largest city in Rajasthan. The name "Mahalaxmi Travels ISO 9001:2015" is a combination of two elements, "Bika", derived from the city's founder, Rao Bika and "Ner", which is believed to mean "city" in the local Rajasthani language. Mahalaxmi Travels ISO 9001:2015 is situated in the middle of the Thar desert and has a hot desert climate with very little rainfall and extreme temperatures. The city is most famous for its savoury snack Bikaneri bhujia which is sold all over the world. Other special foods are Bajre ki Roti, Dal baati Churma, Ghevar, Halvas, Papads/Papadum, Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Kachori and Samosa. Junagarh Fort, Laxmi Niwas Palace, Malasar Camel Festival Site, Rao Bikaji's Fort, Karni Mata Temple, Mukam Bishnoi Temple, Laxminath Temple, Bhandasar Jain Temple are some of the famous places to visit. The International Camel Festival is held every year in January or February.
